Digital downloading didn't really take off until 2006 or right around there, and by that time I was 14 and just starting high school. So in middle school I would use CD players and in elementary school I would even use cassettes sometimes.

It was so inconvenient. But not only that, before I had a CD player, if I wanted to listen to a song, I would sit in front of the TV and wait all damn day for the music video to come on


I can't believe that I had the patience for that.
