She didn't have the drive and cunning business edge Madonna had to achieve what she has.
But Femme Fatale proves the pity support factor can fade fast, and she's more irrelevant and unsuccessful now than ever.

Britney actually has mental health issues though. Whether it's bipolar or multiple personality, getting the right drugs is a process that can make the user loopy, depressed, manic, and/or emotionless in addition to aging and bloating. Finding the right combination of drugs that doesn't make the person feel like a robot can take years if not more.
It's sad that the gays ignore this and just kii and expect Britney to be all healthy and slaying when she clearly still has health issues. Kiing at her being lifeless is good and dandy, but in real life, those drugs can do that and much worse. I'm surprised Britney could even go on two World Tours with everything she has been dealing with in these last several years.
And on "drive and cunning", the real Britney (not the drugged up one) definitely knew what she was doing, and at a much younger age than Madonna did. Britney already has had a 15 year career at an age when Madonna was only on her third album. Britney has a lot more potential, once she's fully recovered, because Britney's story is naturally mysterious and interesting. She doesn't need to wear a new persona every era for people to be excited about her like Madonna and now Gaga have to.
We'll see with album 8 though. People think 2007 and 2008 was so long ago, so they expect Britney to be fine. The truth is, she is still under conservatorship because she still has issues. But good on her for trying to fight through it and salvage her career
