I know a few people who switched to Remain in the last few days, none of them postal voters tho. How many actually do vote by post proportionally? I am just not that organised can only think of one postal voter (bf's ma).
I didn't see one young/youngish person there when I voted.

They should make Graham Norton announce out each constituencies votes one by one like he does for eurovision, would make it a bit more interesting. Anywho im gonna be perched waiting for the results to trickle in

The Guardian included it in their report so it's likely be true

Chief counting officer in Scotland is expecting a 70-80% turnout here. Lot higher than last month and only slightly down on the independence referendum.

I've been saying this for years. They need to camp it up a bit.
"Hello Manchester, Gibraltar calling. The results of our referendum are as follows... Remain, 80%!"
(Oddly excited to see Gibraltar pop up tonight)

I'm surprised that Gilbraltar is being included in this, like I forget that it even exists at times

It's strange that the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey aren't included, they're Crown dependencies though so that could be why they're not included as they're not part of the UK.

Why are polling station open until 10pm in the UK? It is so late, we in Hungary usually get the almost final results by then...

But most polling stations are close to home. If there is low turnout generally, I blame the relentlessly negative campaign. I had enough months ago.

Yeah I think most of us have had enough at this point

Game of Thrones has a lot at stake in the Brexit vote.
One of the show’s major shooting locations is in Northern Ireland, where last week’s epic ‘Battle of the Bastards’ was filmed. Because it films there, HBO currently benefits from subsidies from the European Regional Development Fund. A Brexit would see Northern Ireland leave the E.U. along with the rest of the U.K., and potentially cut off that source of funding for HBO’s flagship program.

Regardless of the result I think Northern Ireland could be the surprise of the evening. There's talk of extremely high turnout in unionist areas, and abysmal turnout in nationalist areas. Unionists are expected to go solidly for Leave.
Even some nationalists have been swinging to Leave lately, because it's been brought up that a Brexit could lead to a united Ireland. Good job, Blair & Major.

Just voted and OH MY GOD TODAY WITH THIS WEATHER.
I got all dressed up to meet Bridgit Mendler but the rain came down and I went from looking a 6.5 to a 3.5...
Managed to make it home and to my polling booth soaking wet, still shivering and in rush hour. Took me about an hour! Anyway! Got to the polling station and it was pretty packed actually! Not packed, but there was a line and after I voted more were turning up (I guess cause every one is now finishing work and getting home).
I reach the woman and I told her my address and she was like "I think I'm going deaf can you repeat that?", so I did and then she started looking for my name and couldn't find it, so she once again asked for my address and I could feel myself getting red, I was already hot thanks to this weather and I was getting worse now. So I repeat and she's looking down the list, the line is getting longer and I'm starting to low-key panic. I start thinking "Oh no my name's not on the list, I'm holding up this line, please please please find my name" after about 2 minutes of awkwardness which felt like an hour -- She finds my name and I go to the booth and I put a cross in...
Remain.
I AM SO SORRY ANDREA, I REALLY HOPE YOU DON'T HATE ME

Most people I know from NI are voting Remain. A lot of people are scared that a Leave vote will reignite the troubles.

I'm from Northern Ireland and I voted to Remain in the EU, I don't want The Troubles to start again, even though I was born at the end of 1994, The Troubles didn't end until 1998, so I was born when The Troubles weren't over.

uhm its almost 10 actually.
it's not about how many people if they started counting earlier we would also know the results much sooner. They should close the polling stations at eight latest, that would give people more than enough time to vote after work...
PS: I also think it crazy to hold this on a weekday but well, it's the UK, they are all so different.
