After seeing the tweets where he cleared it up and explained what he meant (although vaguely) I would personally say no. He's more...misinformed and ignorant, but I wouldn't call him a homophobe.

Some of you are giving a lot of unneeded hate, and then complaining that he may support some Christian values. As long as he doesn't say he hates gay people, what's the issue? You can not support being gay and still be nice to gay people. You all creating drama out of nothing.
