he probably caught an episode online, liked how the family dealt with one another on the show ("family values"), decided to tweet about the show and now these homosexuals are crying "homophobe"
Honey, posting your thoughts and opinions on twitter is not an INVASION of privacy. He posted those thoughts and opinions on his twitter without anybody having to snoop into his life. He wanted to share that and he should have to deal with whatever consequences come along. Stop trying to victimize yourself and either 1) Own your opinions 2) Clarify what you meant and apologize.

He didn't just say he liked the show. He said he respects him and his family (including the public homophobe) AND all their family values.That is the problem.
Fair enough for my 2nd point. There's still the first point. How can you assume he was even aware of a controversy which has been extremely local ? Apparently this show has some guy with alchohol problems having his family support him and all that, perhaps that's what he was refering to. Also, family values doesn't have the same connotation everywhere. For example you can perfectly interpret it as a family who gets together every evening for dinner and some other frivolous things like that.

Liam never explicitly stated/tweeted he's a homophobe (who would do that when it would ruin your career) but him saying he supports the family values that DD represents after the not so little-known interview one of the cast members made makes it seem like there's not too much of a reach from connecting the dots that are there.
