But I agree with this, the only difference is that extremists derive the religion to cater to their own agenda of promoting violence. Having said that, religion is the tool that is used to get people to commit to doing these actions. I'm not implying religion is bad, but it can be dangerous when it is used in a manner that can make people breed hatred and violence against others.

I understand that it can be frustrating to be grouped together with these extremists considering their principle beliefs are different, but it's categorized as under the same religion which is why people tend to attack it as a whole. However, the root of the problem lies with the interpretation of religion itself due to the variations it can have from being peaceful and being violent.

Religious extremism is the topic. Has it ever occurred to you that more Islamic people are being directly affected by extremist groups than the western world? -- we're only frantic bc we're being hit with the dust from the storm. It has nothing to do with Islam as a religion. The discourse should be centered around extremism and how/why it's gaining so much momentum at this point in history, because it's not happening for no reason.

You do know they don't have meetings, right? There's no building every single "member" knows of and they all go and meet? Part of radicalization post-US intervention in the Middle East is that anyone now can be brainwashed by extremists and have their religion misappropriated and tricked into doing evil.

Yes, specific threats and leaders must be targeted and dealt with, and intelligence agencies around the world work to stop threats & attacks, but this idea of "ending ISIS" is just not possible or realistic to what the problem is.

ugh i said several times islamic extremists kill average muslims they see as the same infidels they see a christian as. it IS to do with islam, its not your average every day muslim doing this attack, its a RADICALISED EXTREME MUSLIM TAKING CERTAIN VERSES FROM THE QURAN LITERALLY AND ACTING UPON IT. so yea, id say its islamic extremism, cause it defiantly isn't atheist extremism.

You can't educate people on religion because religion is subjective and doesn't follow LOGIC. You can't tell someone to believe in a being there is no proof of existing because it's FAITH and then continue to give strict instructions. Faith means that a mans mind can process the information you supplied in many different ways. The only way is to eliminate religion itself and educate as much as possible. Make it obligatory so that people start to question whether or not it is wise to start wars and go on suicide attacks
