Its one of her worst singles for me. . . and I've tried for years to give it a chance and nothing, it remains for me as one of her worst singles.

for example I didn't like "My prerogative" that much initially, but then the song grew on me over the years, so now I tolerate it and like it ..... that hasn't happened to me with "Do something" yet., for some kind of reason I still don't like it.

IFPI includes ringtones, music video sales, etc. and how do you know they didn't come from the US?

Because it's a generic dance/club track. It probably won't do **** for next era.
