12 Performers Who Deserve 2014 Emmy Nominations (But Probably Won't Get Them)
Sophie Turner - "Game Of Thrones"
ophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark. Her arc, as the scales fall from her eyes and she becomes more pragmatic and learns how to play the game (the only Stark who has, really), has been a real highlight. And this season, as she was finally freed of Joffrey and escaped to the Eyrie, has seen Turner really come into her own. With the character's naivety stripped away, she's becoming a survivor, and Turner played her big monologue in Littlefinger's "trial" like an aria. It would have been unthinkable a season or two ago, but we're positively champing at the bit to see how that particular storyline develops, and so much of that is to do with the actress (it certainly isn't anything to do with Aidan Gillen's accent, anyway...)

I literally got in a semi-heated argument a few pages back with people claiming that Sophie is a better actress than Emilia and then the critical praise rolls in for Sophie
God I really hope that controversial chapter George is talking about is her ''slaying the giant'' and it happens in S5

Okay guys, I watched the first 3 episodes of season 1 last year but I got mad confused by all the storylines mixing in together
Should I give this show another try?

Definitely give it a try. I was confused at first too because it kind of just throws you into the story but you begin to catch on after about episode 5 and should definitely understand what's going on by the end of the season.
this is an OUTRAGE how did that wino bitch Cersei get the nom and Emilia didn't?!?
Unacceptable. Queen is coming for that Emmy again next year. with fire and blood she will TAKE IT
