the author of aristole and dante came to my college last semester, he signed my copy, as well as gave out copies of his newest book. he was such a sweet and funny man. he gave some great advice on writing. definitely one of my favorite books + authors.

brandon sanderson is GOAT when it comes to fantasy. mistborn was flawless. such a well written, well thought out book. i also love that all his fantasy books coexist in the same universe.

I'm the same. The only music I can listen to whilst reading is if it's someone like Otis Redding or Nina Simone or Billie Holiday. Their mellow tones can be pretty soothing. Either that or classic.

I could never listen to say Beyonce, Rihanna or another fave whilst reading.

Yea classical or soothing music is best to listen to while reading. But there are people who can even read while listening to louder music. I wish I could do that. I can't even read with ambient music

One of my favorites would be Ask The Passengers by A.S. King. It's about one girl trying to avoid being labelled, even though she knows her true sexuality is. A great read.

I also like Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan and More Than This by Patrick Ness. Oh, also Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford.

I have the box set of the original Mistborn trilogy and I started The Final Empire ages ago but stopped reading half way through for literally no reason. I'm attempting a re-read of A Feast for Crows right now so once/if I finish it I'll be hopping back onto Mistborn straight after since I legit don't know why I didn't bother to finish the first book and/or the series because it actually is very good from what I'd read.

John Green has announced that a Looking for Alaska movie is finally going to happen after years of Paramount owning the movie rights but not doing anything with them.



It's my favourite of his novels so I hope they do it justice. Same team who wrote and produced TFiOS and the upcoming Paper Towns will be at the helm of L4A.
