i think it took me a couple months & then i had to wait for the last one to come out actually & that one is huuuge so it took me a little while
i was so into that whole world during the course of that time

sometimes taking ur time is better tho
esp if ur enjoying it so much

I don't dislike many books; but I hated this book just like lovesong.

I don't know if I just read it at the wrong time, but it just didn't come together for me. I thought it was too political and it was a bummer also.

It's an AMAZING book! One of the first books I've ever read. And as for the movie, it definitely gave the book justice. Read it!

I agree! But sometimes you just can't help yourself but wonder what's going to happen next so you just continue reading.

I'm the same. The only music I can listen to whilst reading is if it's someone like Otis Redding or Nina Simone or Billie Holiday. Their mellow tones can be pretty soothing. Either that or classic.

I could never listen to say Beyonce, Rihanna or another fave whilst reading.

And btw, I'm currently reading Aristotle & Dante Discover The Secret Of The Universe and it's so good. The main character is so relatable imo.

I'm actually enjoying it although I do think she's a cop out. There are times I've laughed out loud and times I've thought "stop pitying yourself so much"...and then laughed because I do that a lot. I do think that not a lot has happened despite being over half way through yet I can't put it down. It's slightly inspired me to go out and do something to get a sense of my life. I'm where she was before the 'journey'. Lost and broken after a series of stupid mistakes and unfortunate events...so I can kind of relate.
