Vivien was checked into an insane asylum in Murder House. I'm not sure what was the clue about Coven in Asylum!
Edit: The clue about Coven was in Asylum's tenth episode, but I still don't know what it was!

Sister Jude mentioned something about getting on a broomstick and flying out of the asylum

(The first three episodes of Coven SLAYED though. I don't know wtf happened after that.)

Why couldn't they have redeemed her? They made her immortal, that wasn't problematic? I think bringing her into modern society and having her character really growing would have been much more satisfying than teasing that she would grow and then knocking her back down to a loud racist.

Asylum >>> Coven > Murder House
Coven was nice but it was just really messy and not at all scary, which was disappointing. The finale was sort of a disaster too. But the acting was great and some of the story lines were nice.
Asylum is perfection minus the alien plot

Coven had potential only as a 22 episodes season, adding all of those plots towards the end led them to rush everything.

This is what I've been saying!
It's like the writers thought there were going to be 20+ episodes, but around episode 10, Ryan told them all "Oh, yeah, there's only 13" so they wrapped everything up.

Right? She was great as Lana, but only decent as Cordelia, and Billie Jean was a small role anyway. I would praise Lily Rabe more before Sarah. Sister Mary Eunice >>>>>>, she was so convincing as Misty Day, and she fit Nora's role perfectly.
I'm sad she's not in Freak Show.

I live for Jessica Lange. The ending scene in the season premier had me sobbing so did her performance of the slow demise of Fiona Goode.

AHS is my favorite show ever but jfc I hope this doesn't happen on what's left of the series. I can see it going downhill if this whole space/SCI FI plot happens next season, especially if Jessica Lange ends up leaving for good. This is American HORROR story not American SCI FI story.
If they do decide to go the SCI FI somewhar route then I'm here for American Horror Story: No Man's Land set in New Mexico after the Nuclear Bomb Testing that took place there in the 1940's and how the local villagers were affected by it and later discovered by a group of travelers led by Angelica Huston in 2015 and how there was no way out and were kept prisoners and tortured by these deformed monstrosities. Nuclear, Radiation, Mutation, Deformation, Incest = The Hills Have Eyes = HORROR

Wtf? Have you not heard of Ridley Scott's Alien? Horror and science fiction have frequently worked hand in hand because directors play on the fear of the unknown. Mutants, incest, and grotesque torture-**** are horror cliches. There is basically no potential here save for cheap jump scares. Have fun with your fan-fic though.

I agree with literally ALL of this.
Sarah is cringeworthy. She was great as Lana, and it was cute they brought an actress who had such a minor role in one season be the main character of the next, but then to have her be the main character in a second season, and then a third season following (being TWO characters in the last one, on top of that), is just EXCESSIVE. She needs to back down and let the other girls get a chance for once.
Lily Rabe has some of the best acting, especially when you see her as the possessed Mary Eunice. She obliterates Taissa (though everyone does), knocks Sarah down, and even gives Jessica a run for her money.

Wait, I kind of use this idea.
I screamed at seeing Anjelica Huston mentioned, especially since I have her in my latest fanfic season idea (which I'm taking TONS more seriously than Sinners or Sleep Away; I'm still working things out, but y'all can stay PERCHED in my blogs. ).
If they're going to do anything with aliens, I'm here for Roswell. I pray they don't mess it up, though.
That said, I'd much rather prefer a traditional slasher season, though I'm not sure how well that will work, since slasher incidents tend to take place in short amounts of time, not over the course of a few months, but we'll see.
