That's honestly what this forum looks like 90% of the time.
I mean when you have a post that says "White people wonder why they can't use the word. Because you can't bitch. That's it."
You are the ones making this issue seem trivial and of no importance. As a black person, I find the way black people use the word but prohibit others from saying it to be extremely idiotic. I've never agreed with that logic and never will. Do you see white people calling other people white trash? Do you see hispanics calling each other wetbacks? No. So why do black people have to call each other a word that was created in a demeaning manner? This is why black people continue to find it so hard to be accepted. Always pulling illogical **** like this and blaming other people.

Because WHITE PEOPLE CREATED RACISM SO WHY WOULD IT AFFECT THEM? What part of that don't you get? White people created this racial war, and now you want to be a victim to it? This is the way the world works. After causing several genocides across the nation, and many people still suffering due to white people's greed for power and control, you really expect there to not be some repercussions from that? I mean, even from all of the bad **** white people have done, they STILL are privileged. People are STILL seen as inferior to them. People are STILL dealing with racism, and because you aren't able to pull the "You're racist!" card, you think your life is so bad?

Lmao, how are people seriously trying argue that black people aren't being oppressed in 2015?  did y'all miss all the riots related to cop violence against black people like... (and those were just the cases that were huge in the media, there are millions of similar cases every year that dont get attention)

FIRST OF ALL, what I said was that just because a horrific genocide or enslavement of people happened to one group of people, doesn't take away the thoughts and feelings of another group who feel they are being oppressed.
That was my first and only post in this thread, so why are you making it seem that I cosigned for every black person in here?
If you believe that white people should get to use the N word that's fine, i'm not arguing with you about that, but don't make it seem my post was even a fraction of what you said. You might want to respond to some of those people who are saying things like this

And is this about pay credit where credit is due? because im sure people in european dont care when flower crowns are called originally when thats been in their culture for centuries (not to say other cultures dont have flower crowns, im just using europe as an example). You also have to take into the fact that certain hairstyles on certain ethnicity catch people's eyes more. if i say an asian girl with box braids, id pay more attention to her than a black girl with box braids because the asian girl is going outside the norm of what we expected her to wear.
Nicki's insecurity was misguided. She wanted the nomination for herself. How are you going to criticise the vmas for not giving awards to poc when the nomination she wanted was a poc dominated category?
