Union J makes an appearance again with the anthemic and uplifting "Beautiful Life". The single was released late last year but it only gotten me earlier this year when it gained some airplay on local radio stations. Aside from Union J's harmonious take on this track, I really adore the message.

Lily Allen finally made an appearance with the woman empowering track "Hard Out Here". I've always been a follower of Lily's music and I am pretty much pleased with how "Hard Out Here" turned out. I love the angst and cockiness Lily put into this single. Plus the to-die-for slang.

After the global smash "Clarity", Foxes definitely left a mark on me. This year, she released a bunch of singles and I must "Holding Onto Heaven" is my runaway favorite. Foxes' vocals are truly endearing. I also love the progression of this single. I hope people would start to appreciate her efforts.

Little Mix had an extremely successful 2013 as "Move" finished at #22 while "How Ya Doin'" cracked the Top 10. This year, the girls failed to maintain such accomplishments as this year's Sports Relief settled below the Top 50. "Word Up!" was an instant bop, but I got used to it so much later this year.

I only got hooked into three Fall Out Boy tracks and this one is included on that list. I am not a big fan of their efforts but "Where Did The Party Go" is one irresistible pop punk tracks. I really love the melody and hooks of this promotional single. The guys definitely delivered one good track.
