Yes because not just music wise but her whole image from the hair to her clothes...she influences the general public more so than any other artist and most up and coming artist brand themselves similarly.......it use to be Beyoncé...cause like when rihanna debuted every black girl had to be like Beyoncé to find success but now it's rih and she's had this position for a while now....

This is true, Selena worked with Ester and Stargate who make most of Rih's hits and went with Anthony mandler who has filmed 15 Rih videos. She was clearly going for A rihanna esque song.

Even beyonce latest album was influenced by her...even if her fans won't Admitt it, but her new say bad words and talk about sex thing is influenced from rih.....she didn't do that pre rihanna reign.....I mean she was always sexy but never in the light that rihanna is and now she is.....even wendy Williams said so
