In terms of influence, I think it's mostly based on image. We eagerly anticipate her next hair style/color, and she has incredible taste in clothing and accessories. But that's pretty much where it ends. She has "IT"

In terms of style I think shes been very influential. I think shes so known to be manufactured that people kind of don't give her credit by default, and when it comes to music I can agree on that. But in terms of style shes literally been the most influential female pop artist for the past 7 years, starting with GGGB onward. I dont even think thats arguable. Even with her peers too, I mean look at Rita Ora and Miley. Its like they pick about her whole look.

As far as music goes, I don't think shes that influential. I think she just molds herself to whats popular at the moment and does it so nonchalantly and effectively that no one can question it. I think she has her influences here and there though, what with Beyonce getting a little more ratch on this album and Nicki straight up trying to have a Diamonds moment with Pills n Potions.

Reversing the exact questions like you asked, I only see a woman who's been around for 17 years ("been there done that") and who is constantly challenging herself and progressing. Ain't nothing Beyoncé is doing that it's influenced by Rihanna. You can stay mad at those facts yourself
