I hated Ke$ha when Tik Tok was slaying the charts. I was on Pandora on Lady Gaga radio cuz she was my fave, and then Ke$ha's Blind comes on. I fell loved it instantly. Then I got on youtube and started hearing all her other songs and unreleased material, and I heard Take It Off and I was SLAYED and my love for her began and I pushed Gaga aside.

Except, once I fell in love with TT, I went on YouTube and discovered Butterscotch. It was like heaven. I fell in love with the bitch and checked out her other material and decided I was buying the album. One of the best decisions, musically ever.

2007. I'd known like a couple songs by ha but it wasn't until I found When You're Gone and then that the video came out that she caught my attention. I went on and listened to her first two albums and her hit album at the time "The Best Damn Thing" and I've loved ha ever since. The fact that she was insanely pretty made her even more appealing.

Omg yesssss both Take It Off and Butterscotch were the two songs that made me realize Kesha is THAT BITCH. I LOVED how dirty Butterscotch was. Its what attracted me the most tbh

No Doubt - Oh I will always remember it so, so vividly Christmas 2007. I had just gotten the original iPhone, so at the time the fact that I could buy music on the mobile iTunes store and have it download RIGHT TO MY PHONE! seemed so revolutionary A relative gave me an iTunes giftcard so I rushed to redeem it and try out the store... and I always had liked No Doubt's singles, so I just decided on a whim to buy Tragic Kingdom. What kind of life-changing decision By the end of the night I had purchased their entire discography and basically gone to heaven and back five times over.

Björk and Fiona Apple - Found old CDs in my parents' collections, ended up loving them.

Gaga and Jack Johnson - I've been a fan since their debut albums dropped.

Mariah Carey - She was on the radio a lot when I was a child.

Kate Bush - I was reading the Gay Icon article on Wikipedia, and I saw her name mentioned in the article.

Madonna - I heard "Like a Virgin" on the radio one day.

Four years later I was in love with Kelly Osbourne's One Word, and then there was a tiny scandal because Tiziano's new single Stop! Dimentica used the same sample. I listened to his version and really liked it, but not enough to listen to more of his songs.

A few months later a friend from Mexico asked me if I had heard the follow-up single, Ed Ero Contentissimo. So I gave it a listen, and was instantly blown away. He's been my fave ever since.

I remember hearing GIAB in the radio when I was lik 9 and I knew of the comparisons with Britney but for some reason I was always rooting for Xtina because she was sortve the underdog.

Then like years later I met a friend who was an X fan and we were like praising Xtina all the time and saying how much better and hotter she is than Britney. (not on the internet) we were like 12 or something.

Then I finally got Internet access and cable in my household right before the Back 2 Basics era..... And of course she slayed that era like no other. I started standing and the rest is history
