I've heard interesting stories about people becoming fans of a certain artist So how or when did you discover your fave.?

Back in early 2007
I hated Ke$ha when Tik Tok was slaying the charts. I was on Pandora on Lady Gaga radio cuz she was my fave, and then Ke$ha's Blind comes on. I fell loved it instantly. Then I got on youtube and started hearing all her other songs and unreleased material, and I heard Take It Off and I was SLAYED and my love for her began and I pushed Gaga aside.
When I was a kid I didn't like music at all and when I was like 8/9/ years old(it was 2002) my parents had Shakira's Laundry Service album and for some reason I always loved her music and always asked my parents to put on that record and became a huge fan ever since. With my other faves I kinda started to stan for all of them at the same time in between 2009 and 2010 which is when I finally started liking music
My next door neighbor always showed me random music videos. One day I went over to his house and he showed me "SOS" (along with "You're Beautiful by James Blunt ). I never really paid any extra attention to Rihanna until Umbrella, but I knew of her from that friend showing me the video.
I always knew I liked Bey's bops from DC to Dangerously in Love, but It didn't hit me until she performed Ring The Alarm at the VMA's in 2006. Ha energy>>
I was in awe. I mostly stan for her as a performer.
I first heard of Katy when I Kissed a Girl was on the radio, it was a guilty pleasure (I was 14). Then, I overheard some girls in my class listening to Hot 'N Cold and I liked it but was embarrassed to ask what song it was so I remembered the lyrics and went home and googled it, and when I realized it was also Katy, I started listening to some more of her stuff. Waking Up in Vegas was my favorite, and then I was into her until Teenage Dream (the song) leaked and I became a stan.
Perez posted about her and the video for Just Dance... a few months before she became famous ww. I loved her voice and attitude right away and back then I checked his website daily and he posted a lot about her and that's how I discovered her.
