Poker Face, Bad Romance and Born This Way are her signature songs in that they define and represent huge moments in her career.

Whilst BTW isn't one of her best songs, it's undeniably a Gaga classic. It showcases a huge part of her act (explicitly championing the underdog), saw her biggest controversy (being a Madonna copycat), coincided/aided a big surge in the gay rights movement (which it is now associated with) and has basically owned the phrase "born this way" within pop culture for the foreseeable future. It's an anthem whether deservedly so or not.

Alejandro was a monster hit in my country. Radio played it basically non stop. It was a huge summer hit

That sums up BTW era quite well. I can be hated for that but I wish BTW never happened.

And in no way I think Born This Way is a signature Lady Gaga song.
