I think it was written to be a swagger track, but given Rihanna's personal circumstances this year you have to understand it cuts a lot deeper than that. It's violent for a reason and the fact that the melody sounds so pretty just makes it that much more sinister.
OH MY GOD!!!!! THIS ALBUM IS AHHHHMAZING!!!!!!! I've never listened to a RiRi album before, but this is great! Very dark at points, which I like a lot. My favorites are probably Mad House (great way to start), Wait Your Turn, Hard, Rockstar 101, Russian Roulette, Fire Bomb, Photographs, G4L, Cold Case Love, and The Last Song. The whole album is just so good!!!!!
this is rihanna's best album yet. What makes it so amazing is that its so personal, so real, so UGH freaking AMAZIN!! "STupid In Love" makes this album perfect
