I'll continue to tell Red > SN factually, unless you show me another fact that shows i'm wrong. And i can see, tastes can difffer and you may find SN > Red, but please don't sound like it's a fact without showing any fact about that please. I'm still waiting to be proven wrong.
Commercially Red > SN
Critical acclaim: Red = SN
# of awards: Red > SN
These are the facts.
But, speaking of personal tastes, i also personally liked Red and its songs. This includes MM songs too, except WANEGBT (Which is too reptetivie) So, i don't see any reason for myself to have a meltdown here about her working with MM in LP5. I'm sure that LP5 will have some really good songs to listen to.
But please, even if you don't agree with me, please keep your personal metldonws until the LP5 is released. At that time if you think LP5 is really bad, then you can officially jump the ship., since you're only here for the music. And it'd be good for everyone actually, because i feel like here i'm in a random forum which most of the people hates Taylor, lately. If you only care about her music and if you think she's started to make bad music, you can really think of jumping the ship, there's nothing to be ashamed or there is nothing wrong about that.
Again speaking of myself, im not only here for her music, at the first place. i bought %70 of her itunes discography and i bought roguhly %25 of it twice or even more. And this includes some of the songs that i don't really enjoy it at all. I'll continue to buying no matter what, unless i dislike her as a person. If i'd stan only for making good music, then my first fave artist would be Coldplay, but they aren't.

You left out Fearless though, which is superior to Red commercially and critically (AOTY) and it was MMfree (yet the debut & Red remains my personnal favorites)

sis what do you mean 'show you another fact'?
it's completely subjective. You may think Red's better, I may think Speak Now's better. That's because of our personal tastes.
edit: oh are you talking about critical/'commercial success wise?

He's obviously not actually talking about commercial/critical success, otherwise he'd be all up on Fearless' dick and pushing it as the best album of her career, rather than red, seeing as Fearless is the most awarded album in country music history.
Rather, he personally likes red and max martin more than Speak Now and wants taylor to go in that direction, so he constantly brings up the same tired point over and over again, to try and pretend like his opinions are somehow objectively true and aren't just his personal preferences. It's annoying as **** tbh.

Critically Red is better than Fearless. (Red = 77) Fearless ( = 70 ) (Personally Fearless = Red for me)
Fearless won the Aoty and Red coulrdn't, i know, i didn't compare Fearless and Red though. I compare SN and Red, because Fearless had a different story for itself (Kanye thing, no backlash for Taylor) So many different things helped its success. SN and Red however, they were relaased in the similar condtions. Fearless will probably remain her most selling album regardless of which musical direction Taylor will go in the next albums, it's her big break album

So, OK if you want me to compare Red and Fearless then i 'm comparing
Commercially Fealess > Red
Critically Red > Fearless
# of awrards. Fearless > Red
So, Fearless seems better than Red , i don't deny. But Red is better than Speak Now, then. And why do you bring up Fearless here ? I mean, i started comparing SN and Red, because everyone was dragging here Taylor ''because of the MM tracks , Red is worse than SN''. So i had to compare them.
Fearless her best album to date awards wise and commercially, but it had a really different story and comparing Red to SN is more logical since SN were released closer and with the similar conditions of today compared to Fearless.

Despite all the commercial success, awards and critical acclaim,
Speak Now still > Red for me, not because MM tracks (I actually enjoy them)
But the music in SN is relatable for me
Sometimes music is not just about success/other people's opinions

Well, according to that one thread that that person on here had, the debut would've gotten a 78.

But back then She was a 16 year old prodigy that only country music publications reviewed. Would've smashed MC
