I am actually very concerned about American Oxygen as a title and lyrics.
Y'all who are not from EU probably don't understand but Europe doesn't use America. For example, when Rih performed in my city few years ago she had to pass by completely destroyed and demolished buildings that were bombed by NATO a decade ago causing many deaths, injury and radiation. You really think singing 'Breathe in American Oxygen, this is a new America' in the same city would ever be good?
And I don't want to ****ing breathe American Oxygen nor I want to associate myself with such in-your-face American propaganda and I'm a stan, so imagine how easy it could be for the GP to completely pay it dust.

When some of her other songs came out people called them trash only to like it the following era, or when the song began to slay on the charts. It's not like it's you particularly I'm directing what I'm saying to you but in general. I don't like some of her songs but I rarely talk about the songs of hers I don't like because what's the point. I mean if we are discussing quality in general then yes calling the song trash is warranted but it seems that there is a bandwagon for not liking FFS going on and I've seen this with Rihanna stans before where if the song didn't smash the navy didn't really use.
