Mmm, I don't care as much about the stats for one radio format.

I was one of the ones shading it, but it was because of the ratio of H100 T10 weeks to sales, rather than because of specifically pop radio. And because I don't like him.

Pop radio really is dead right now considering how it really pulled on Habits and now Don't. Like both are perfroming very average in sales and both were never huge on radio, but all of a sudden massive updates. I'm happy for Ed, but so ready for the next single to blow up

Well I was talking about T40, obviously, since my posts have been about the spins. And T40 is what predominately is discussed in this thread. And the one format most need to even talk about strong movement on Radio Songs.

But if you want to talk Radio Songs, the same situation might happen. It's more likely Blank Space follows Animals over there, though. Given the massive updates continue between pop and hac.

Anyway, looks like what I originally post about might come true. "Don't" suddenly pushing over +300 spins, so it's close enough to replace "Animals" when they auto-drop it.

Bad Thing went #1 on Pop if I remember correctly. People were shading it for being #1 on Pop but top30 on iTunes

Bad Thing went #1 on Pop if I remember correctly. People were shading it for being #1 on Pop but top30 on iTunes

NABT went #1 on Pop for 2 1/2 weeks in May/June if I remember correctly

We look to have 9 1-2 week #1s this year after Habits gets toppled.

While on the better overall airplay chart, we have 2 so far...I guess Habits will make 3. And Magic/Dark Horse were multiple-week sales #1s so you can't consider them particularly weak...

I don't think that Habits is weak. It's big right now, certainly bigger than other airplay-fueled hits this year like NABT.

And we actually already have 11 2-week #1s this year and Habits will be #12 (see posted list above).

To compile my blog I used Kworb all stations pop charts and went through the year, logging when each song reached or relinquished #1.
