I will just say that after 15 years of intense standom I have finally seen the light and started to like the early (post-95) albums and yet Music Box is my least favorite. It really lacks edge and vision. Sissy was SPOT ON!

You know, I understand English by time I am even very zero but I must admit that with Music box, it has helped in my English classes and I find quite poetic indeed.

Some of her texts comfort me as precisely I cited her "Just to hold you once again", famous All I ever wanted and the moment where she said "I can't conquer The world" literally puts me on knees.

I understand your point of view but from there to the qualified worse or uninspired! Oh my god!!!
It is true that on some point you rightly and it is very ambient despite some flaws but me that is lived that era time as a true and tender happiness to my ears, believe me it's hard to hear!

And I owe to my mea culpa because all my false notes with the soft sound of her voice above, there's of merit! LOL

Music Box is a flawless album bar "I've Been Thinking About You".
Dreamlover , Anytime You Need A Friend & Music Box are the best songs on the album.
It's even better than the overrated butterfly album. Plus it garnered some of the best remixes in her discography.

I love Music Box and I think it's a BIT underrated but still easily the weakest from Debut - Butterfly.

I wonder if something actually happened. I'd like to hope not. But it's something about that segment and Whitney's right before. A kind of, I guess, tense awkwardness.

I remember someone on here once wrote that Whitney supposedly approached Mariah backstage at some award show and wanted to 'introduce' herself but Mariah just left because Tommy didn't allow her to talk to Whitney. I don't know if there's some kind of source to back up that story. Anyway, you said it, the two of them overcame whatever it was that had been going on between them and put it behind them.

Could be what caused Whitney to 'shade' her with "I don't think of her"
