Anyways, I think it'll be the R/S/E remakes. Everyone wants them, everyone expects them, Nintendo is pretty predictable tbh. They'll be getting my coins for the 3DS sadly, which is unfortunate, but I'll finally get motivation to finish Black 2 and replay HeartGold that way. I'd be down honestly
HG/SS where announced over some flop yahoo website, I doubt they are making a huge press release for remakes, and it'd be pointless to just add a random Eeeveelution to it. My money is on a new gen and I am all here for it.
They should just rerelease Yellow, optimized for the new consoles.
Game Freak exclusively develops for Nintendo. There's no way in hell they'd ever give Sony or Microsoft access to Pokemon; the first-party titles are the only reason why Nintendo slays so hard.

That doesn't make any sense though, you don't think they'll try to step up the anticipation? HG/SS announcements actually started with a rumor and it kept on spreading until its confirmation was made. It was actually a Japanese Pokemon variety show that really hinted at the announcement.

Pokemon is the biggest selling video game franchise only behind Mario. Nintendo is not about to let one go to a third-party they're keeping it as exclusive as they can.
I'll only buy the 3DS if it's a new game, and I know I'm not the only one.
Nintendo is already slaying the Ps Flopta, but if they want to smash it to smithereens they'll have to release that 6th gen.
