I don't know what she was thinking with 27 ****in' tracks. GIRL! And RN + VR are her top albums to me. I just always thought janet. was the fan favorite...that's what it seemed like.

Velvet Rope and Control are classics. I'd venture to say that Velvet Rope is her best album, nearly a masterpiece.

"Let's Wait Awhile" gets more airplay TODAY than "Again", as does "Funny How Time Flies". Looks like TIME agrees sis. Just goes to show which song is classic and the public still enjoys.

KIII @ "Where Are You Now" going top 40 on airplay and it wasn't even a single. It was gonna punch "Again" right down had it been released.

I don't understand this 'janet. has a lot of filler' argument. It had great singles, great ballads, great upbeat tracks... it's a great, classic Janet album.

There's a reason it's Janet's best-selling album of all time.

Most critics refer to TVR as her masterpiece. The album was so ahead of its time and reintroduced the "concept" album. She ventured outside the box and took a risk. It paid off in the long run.

My fave album list by Janet always changes. It's amazing that she's had a career where you can argue what's the best, etc. That's why it's best for these new stans to be apprehensive because their fave may not see a career refined as Janet.

the interludes on the Janet. album are not even that long ..she says like 1 -2 words on some of them yall act like she's talking full sentences lmfaooo in 1 interlude she just might say "Come here" ..and thats it lol..the interludes set the tone for the album...they really make it into like an audio story

janet. has too many interludes, but other than that and a few filler tracks, I love the album and it's one of my favorites. I can't really pick one favorite Janet album, though, because they're all good to me and there's gems in ALL of them, even if they aren't known to be one of her best albums. There's always something to enjoy in a Janet album.
