Was just going through some Taylor Swift jokes. I gotta admit, they are funny (but untrue at the same time). the ones I thought were funny (and false) were:
Note: I am not a Carrie Underwood fan. Just wanted some humor.
Who knew she would literally have one of the most successful careers in American music, starting right off the bat with her debut shows what good music can do.

A pressed hater would say that 12 year old girls keep buying her albums.
So many people reply to this post, let me also join this RED CLUB.
The rest dates of RED TOUR become a mystery.
Most likely her Chinese New Year video means nothing but greeting, but I hope to see RED TOUR Asia though.
The show must go on!!!
Then she can release LP5 in October as usual. I hope so.
Don't know if this has been posted here before but this is a comment on the article about the double standards when it comes to Taylor
Quote:
"Who the hell does Taylor swift think she is, running around town expressing her emotions creatively through an art form that she happens to be very talented in? How dare a woman write songs about how men in her life have let her down, lied to her, and treated her like an object! Quit your whining, girly, and embrace the blatant sexism that dominates your industry. Never mind that you’re a multi award winning recording artist who managed to be a ‘teen star’ who’s biggest scandal wasn’t drugs, alcohol or criminal activity in general, but the number of boyfriends you’ve had. You have dated a bunch of different guys, so you’re basically you’re a terrible person. How dare you go through the very normal act of dating? Don’t you know you’re a celebrity and a young female celebrity at that, and therefore have no right to privacy, sympathy or respect? And then you go and turn your life experiences into art? I mean, who does that? Can’t you just shake your ass and sing about ‘getting’ down in the club’ like everyone else? And what about your terrible dancing at the Grammys? I mean, we know that you’re a singer and a song writer and have never professed to being a good dancer, and you were probably just having a bit of fun, dancing with a friend to a song you thought was cool, but we all thought you looked like a total douche. Seriously. And even though you don’t give a **** what anyone thinks of your dancing, we care, and we like to laugh at you. And that is all that matters. So we hope you go home to your multi-million dollar house, with your hugely successful multi-platinum albums on the walls, and the trophy case full of awards, look at your beautiful reflection in the mirror and cry… because you’re kind of a dorky dancer."
Most of us are sad lately, me included. So I want to post this to cheer us (OK, just myself) up:
After the dramatic 2014 Grammy Awards, I am focusing on Taylor Swift's new music more than ever, I am also thinking about her 2013 year more deeply. The following are couple of my THOUGHTS about Taylor Swift after 2014 Grammy Awards:
1, About Taylor Swift's 5th album
For me, the success of Taylor Swift's 5th album is 100% for sure. Even though Taylor's management team always said RED TOUR was to promote her album RED, and actually it DID give album RED a big boost, but I have a strong feeling, the main goal of every tour is promoting the next album. This happened before, the huge success of her FEARLESS TOUR was one of the important reasons her 3rd album SPEAK NOW reached over 1 million first week album sales. Similarly, the success of RED TOUR is the best preparation for Taylor's 5th album.
Even though, RESPECTFULLY, the huge success of RED TOUR obviously still COULDN'T impress the Grammy voters, it definitely impressed her massive fans, looking at her fans screaming, jumping up and down and singing along at her sold-out concerts, makes me very confident that MOST of these 1.5 million concertgoers will buy Taylor's new album, of course many of them attended with their families, not all 1.5 million of them will buy. But so many other fans including new fans like me are waiting to buy her new album, listen to her new music, after being impressed by her current album RED and hugely successful RED TOUR.
2. About the 2013 Taylor Swift backlashes
During the past year, STRANGELY, coming together with Taylor's huge success were the huge backlashes, from 2013 Golden Globes to massive media negative reports, finally after she won awards by awards, broke records after records, we thought everything would be fine, then, SURPRISE, she went home empty-handed from 2014 Grammy Awards. Swifties were disappointed and angry but respectfully never lost loyalty, this was proved by her hugely successful RED TOUR.
When we were disappointed and angry, we didn't realize the much bigger impact on Taylor herself. Similar to 2010, some people said "this is the beginning of the end of her career" AGAIN after 2014 Grammy Awards, funny thing is "the beginning" lasted for so long and maybe will last for 30 more years. Record-breaking album SPEAK NOW, including award wining song "MEAN", hugely successful SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR were what happened right after 2010 backlashes.
3. About the quality of Taylor Swift's new music
I am very confident about Taylor Swift's new music. Nearly everybody knows, as a songwriter, Taylor Swift writes all about her real feelings which people can relate to, no matter they are about loves and relationships or heartbreaks and breakups or SOMETHING ELSE. She's a songwriter who wears her heart on her sleeve, her music needs more and more inspirations.
After looking back to what happened in the past, I reached a conclusion that in the past year, she got much more inspirations than EVER. She is definitely a super talented singer/songwriter who needs a lot of inspirations to make good music, if you want to stop her, then don't give her inspirations! I am sure the quality of her new album will be much better than all her previous albums. She's just 24 years old, as she grows up, she will become more and more mature. Meanwhile, her music will also become better and better. You will see it! I can't wait for it!
