No. John is one of the most inconsistent characters.
He was great till episode 6 when he became crazy. in episode 8 we learn that he is the killer and he goes fully crazy and remembers everything only to be the loving dad again in episode 9 and 10.

Ja, hab's schon in einigen Kundenrezensionen gelesen. Deswegen bin ich zum einen skeptisch ob's dann nicht doch ein Fehlkauf ist. Andererseits will ich die möglicherweise 3 oder 4 Monate noch warten bis die DVD in deutsch erscheint. Mal schauen wie geduldig ich sein kann.

Yes, there is no one to root or care for this season. Like they could all die and it wouldnt matter. Asylum had me on the edge to see if Lana would make it. The show needs interesting characters. They don't have to be likable or relatable, just interesting.
The Countess was interesting but tragically underused. The season should have been her story.

they probably had a bigger role before they rewrote stuff, especially because gaga was to sew naomi campbell into one in the first episode or something.
i think sally injects them something, thus her name hypodermic sally, which was also thrown over board after the rewrites.

Yeah, they come up with really good ideas but then just never flesh it out properly and forget it after a couple of episodes, i can get sally being called hypodermic sally cause she's a heroin addict, but it'd have been cool if drugged the guys in the mattress/used something which made the decompose like that

Underused? Excuse me? The Countess got like 2 or 3 full episodes about herself. Gaga got as much screentime as Jessica Lange got in all the previous seasons. And the story is surrounding around the hotel, not the Countess.
I met my friend which I haven't seen for like two months today and when I asked her if she watched Hotel she told me that she stopped after the first few episodes, because they were too vulgar for her I understand her tho, this season is probably my favorite but there's too many sex scenes. Some of them were completely unnecessary and just made The Countess look like a ***** Gonna try to make her binge watch it together during the winter holidays

I'm also not on my edge. Only Murder House did that for me. Asylum is the best season, but it was more eerie and creepy, which was done well.
Ryan needs to stop dropping plot lines. The mattress people + addiction demon have never been explained and at this point I'm thinking they never will be.

Its sad that you can notice that they put way more work into the first episode than the rest. The music, especially when it was in the background like in the intro with the girls or bauhaus in the countess penthouse. Visually and sonically stunning. Some later episodes look literally cheap in comparison

That's a silly excuse, because AHS has always been overly sexual, each season gets progressively moreso. It's unnecessary
Actually, it's not a "silly excuse." Why do you think they spend so much scene time on the sex scenes? Because an addiction to sex exists. Addiction is the theme of the season so it's not my fault you're ignorant to addiction
