Hm I mean i like it but that kiesza-esque beat is kinda ruining the song for me.
it seems so out of place with the whistles&drum beats.
I agree with the fact that there's no cohesion, that it feels like 2 demos were combined together
Lemme listen again
Max Martin. once again switching up his production style, not following trends or typical sound structure. That build. That guitar. That techno beat. It's like a dark pulsating club anthem. Sexy and reverberating. Awesome
I like it, I must say I was expecting something different, from the snippets it sounded to me like it was going to be a "huge" song, instead it has this melancholic vibe that I quite dig but it's not that amazing either. I can see now why someone who reviewed this song said it reminded him a little bit of "Hey Brother" by Avicii. To me it's like a 7/10.
Hope it has a great video that compliments the song.
I've never really liked Adam, but this song is great. Hope it blows up for him. Max Martin never ceases to amaze me with his flaw-free melodies and productions.
First listen: The intro I was like omg this is gonna be so good.
And then that chorus hits outta nowhere with a bad buildup to it I should add and the whole song just went downhill.
It's got a cool vibe to it, but as people are saying. It sounds like two demos combined. It's not a bad chorus either, but I just think the song could have been much better
Who knows though. Might take a few more listens to appreciate it because it's definitely an interesting song
