90 · RIXTON, "Me And My Broken Heart"
Weeks on Chart: 2 Weeks
Peak Position: #16
Debut Date: April 5, 2014
Rixton debuts on the list with "Me And My Broken Heart". I've always been a fan of boy bands so this one cause my attention really fast. The vocals were amazing and the feels were there. Definitely a worthy pop-alternative debut material. It got old on me fast though.

Weeks on Chart: 2 Weeks
Peak Position: #15
Debut Date: June 7, 2014
J. Lo is ultimately one of those artists who have been consistently charting impressively on my Best Of lists since 2011. This year seems to be off for her. Of all her singles this 2014, I must say this is the most decent. However, it definitely lacked impact and spark. Another J.Lo-Pitbull collaboration, please.

Weeks on Chart: 2 Weeks
Peak Position: #19
Debut Date: April 9, 2014
Definitely one of the few country singles I paid attention to this 2014. I first heard it on the radio, and I enjoyed the feel-good country vibe of this track. Such a breath of fresh air from those ballad-ish country tracks I've been hearing for the past years.
♫ "It's like Amen from the back of the choir. Sweet hum of freedom underneath the tires. " ♫

Weeks on Chart: 4 Weeks
Peak Position: #04
Debut Date: September 27, 2014
Double whammy for J. Lo on this set. I admit this is a ridiculous single choice, but it's definitely one guilty pleasure. It's just frustrating to see J. Lo ending up with this single cause I know she can do better than this. The collaboration with Iggy made it more appealing though.
♫ "Mesmerized by the size of it. You can fight it if you like take your time. I can guarantee you'll have the time of your life." ♫

86 · CHARLI XCX, "Break The Rules"
Weeks on Chart: 5 Weeks
Peak Position: #12
Debut Date: September 6, 2014
Charli XCX graces the list again with the infectious single "Break The Rules". I easily got hooked into this song because of its sick synthpop beats and catchy chorus. Charli's playful vocals was also a plus. However, it's also one track that got old on me too fast.
♫ "Going to the discotheque. Getting high and getting wrecked. I don't wanna go to school. I just wanna break the rules." ♫
