I don't think so. The pop bars are an indication of sales in the past X hours. I think X is about 24, or one day. So if you want to know the total sales on Saturday, you have to look at the pop bars as they are when Saturday ends (which is about now).

S&M being ahead in the first half of the day just means it sold more on Friday.
