I think some parts of the era were well received. The acoustic performances and TEOG were definitely MOMENTS. Some of the festivals she led (she led so many) were highlights, and the TOUR, good GOD the tour. It's just that she was no longer dazzling everyone without there being some form of backlash for certain things she did. She literally pushed everything too far.

I agree tbh. It's funny people say this because this is closer to her original sound (before The Fame) than anything she's released - for example Fooled Me Again and other old tracks would fit perfectly on Joanne (if they were fully produced and finished)
