After the phenomenal "Rather Be", Jess Glynne teamed up with Route 94 for the contagious "My Love". Despite being too repetitive, I just found myself enjoying the track. The beats are definitely catchy and Jess' vocals were pleasantly haunting.

Here comes a track which I only enjoyed when everyone started to rave about it. Despite all the clamor of all the people for Despicable Me, I never gave this track a full listen. However, it wasn't really that bad at all. But it definitely got too overplayed that I got sick of listening to it most of the year.

Miley had a scandalous and controversial 2013, but that was a successful year for her in music. This year, Miley released another vulnerable and more toned-down follow-up through "Adore You". I admit I wasn't appealed by the single at first spins, but it grew on me a lot over the year.

British soul sensation Sam Smith debuts on the list this year with "Restart". Off all his singles this year, this is the one I least liked. Nevertheless, I still find it an outstanding track. i actually enjoyed the pop vibe off the track. Such a break from his emotional heartbreak anthems. The first #1 to appear on this year's list!

Best Rap/Hip-Hop Act Ever
Iggy Azalea is definitely one of my favorite discoveries this year. I am not much into hip-hop and rap but Iggy's releases are slaying. Not to mention being one of the favorite featured artists this year, as well.
