Katy Perry, Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Britney, and Ke$ha are all feeling the pressure of keeping up with GaGa. Even their respective stans have to be aware of that. But just because there's a correlation between certain things they do, doesn't mean everything they do is inspired by GaGa. I think the only obvious GaGa imitation last night was Nicki and maybe Katy's last outfit.
The funny thing about this is that we all know Gaga wasn't the first person to ever wear something wacky, but because she is the person to "bring it back into the mainstream pop world," everyone who dares step outside of the box is immediately dismissed as a "Gaga copycat". I think it's hilarious.
Nicki and Katy tried really, really hard, but ultimately were upstaged by Gaga in a simple white shirt and dress pants.
Katy Perry and Nicki just EMBARRASSED themselves. Gaga needs to move on to elegant long dresses while these other girls jump on the weird bandwagon, but don't do it right.
