It's not so much in the way of arguments. It's just the understanding that people are closed because of their pasts, their upbringing and their country. So yes it is about educating, but I don't think acting according to your values should be considered wrong.
To some people marriage is between a man and a woman. America was founded on christian values where Adam and Eve were created to basically unite and populate the earth. You can disagree with that stance, but I think it's important to appreciate that people run according to their values and religion. Christianity has done good for a lot of people. It has changed the structure of many countries, giving the rights to democracy and in many cases freed slavery. Although the bibles arguments are not all that specific in regards to homosexuality, they are there and people who act according to their values will most likely continue to do. I appreciate that.
