Beyonce's part may not have been the best, but that's one of the main reasons why some people really liked it. If it was GaGa alone, it would always be lacking something, and it might've not even gone top 10. Beyonce's verse also brought some R&B/Urban influence into the song. Of course it's still a pop song in it's core, but Beyonce did deliver a more Urbanized pop song.
