Even though AIF is really R&B influenced I don't know how it would do there if released since Paramore hasn't had a hit there.

But t is, is an Alternative Funk song and it is Paramore's main audience but it wasn't released there.

If Blurred Lines, Wake Me Up, and Dark Horse went Top 10 on AC then so can Ain't It Fun if promoted there.

Honestly, Alt hasn't been very receptive to Paramore in general. They haven't had a top 10 there since 2009 with "Brick By Boring Brick." "Now" was... kind of a flop there, too

I am not sure why these detections and impressions are not included in the A1 chart, unless it is because he is on the Published chart and not the All stations Hot AC Chart yet. As of tonight, Bryan still has a slim lead in impressions, for a fourth week, in impressions on the Country Chart, but the lead is slim over Lambert. With Bryan gaining at Hot AC and AC, hopefully he will get the crossover impressions to add to his total on A1 soon.

i dont think its really concerning IMO. Mylo Xyloto still sold 8 million copies WORLDWIDE, in just a span of 3 years, while Viva la vida sold 10 million copies in a span of 6 years.

the sales are just a reflection of the state of the music industry at the moment(with a few exceptions like Adele, Taylor etc.). It's just natural for a band that has been in the industry for at least 15 years to experience a relative decline in their sales

AC is going to pick it up. Paramore isn't a strong staple on Alternative, so I'm not surprised that format picked AIF up. If a stronger ALT radio staple like Green Day did it with a song of a similar sound, they'd probably get some spins.
