True, it was a really great kick-off. Of course it seemed huge to us since we knew about all of her interviews and stuff. But if I wasn't a fan who pursues everyhting she does and didn't have the radio on at the right time I might not even have heard (of) the song yet.
And as entertaining as these interviews were for us I don't know if I had appreciated them as an average listener. Calling Ryan Seacrest simply for three minutes would have been more effective than babbling about dem babies for half an hour or so. Whatever, I don't want to complain and point out what could have been even better. Quite the contrary, I want to focus on the positive and I don't want to give up after one week just yet. I think a few performances wouldn't hurt and cost much and could do nothing but help the song.
But let's wait and see whether the BET performance can bring everything into line.
