I was confused, too. But then again: Messy Lamb Comin' Thru
I refuse to believe that it's supposed to be done just yet. I still want to believe it can achieve some kind of mediocre success. She doe need promo, though.
Not you, STMG23.
I'm just realistic. I love the song, though and still hold hope it might grow. Yet, it is simply depressing how it is virtually doing nothing in sales.
Meanwhile, following its release a week ago, Mariah Carey's "You're Mine (Eternal)," the first single from her new album due May 6, enters the Hot 100 at No. 88. Opening sales of 32,000 account for 62% of its chart points. The ballad is Carey's 46th Hot 100 hit, as well as her first non-collaboration/non-cover/non-holiday entry since "Obsessed" became her 27th and most recent top 10 (reaching No. 7) in 2009.
It's a good thing they released the video too the same week. I think 32,000 in sales alone (even with a bit go airplay) might be right on the edge between charting and not charting

So many ups and downs with this era and we are still waiting for the album. LOL . I do hope this continues to climb up the charts. Slow and steady wins the race.
I'm happy this edged into the Hot 100! Next week will be a huge test of patience but we are in this for a long haul. So happy this is her 46th Hot 100 hit!

I had to think of "Through The Rain", too. #88 is a start, though. She needsT to do promo
