Same here! However, they loved Born This Way and TEOG.

Gorl no.
The Fashion of His Love has part of 'Then You'd Love Me', my favorite GaGa unreleased song.
Fashion of His Love >>> The Queen >> Black Jesus / Amen Fashion
Marry The Night, Born This Way, Judas, Hair, Bloody Marry, Bad Kids, Electric Chapel, You & I, The Edge of Glory >> Government Hooker, Americano, Scheibe >> Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) >>> Heavy Metal Lover
Sadly.. I can't put songs into individual order yet. It's just too hard for me. But HML is defintitely last.. it's the only song I couldn't finish the whole thing of. Also 'Highway Unicorn' has a spectacular chorus, but the rest is kinda disappointing but it's still average. Gov. Hooker, Americano, Scheibe would probably be a 9/10 or so, and then the rest a 10/10.
The Fame Monster: 99%
The Fame: 98%
BTW will probably be a 95% or 96% when I review it. An amazing album but a very small step down from her previous two albums.

Yes, very interesting indeed.
The great thing about Nicole's posts is that she's extremly articulate and therefore capable of getting her thoughts across, good or bad, while mainting a very real legitimacy.
The problem is that when she's pro-GaGa, bandwagon stans latch on and repeat her every word. And when she's anti-GaGa, the haters who criticize the stans for the riding her every thought, turn around and do the exact same thing. A disaster

Im really satisfied with The Queen as I just listened to it. I like Fashion Of His Love and The Queen more than Amen Fashion Black Jesus but I can see Amen Fashion Black Jesus being a really fierce song at the monster ball if she performs it.
Edit: I just said the monster ball

I never knew she was so powerful, honestly. It's pretty scary.

I've seen more than a few posts mentioning (paraphrasing now) how GaGa's eccentric personality, superiority complex, or whatever has led her music astray, down a path that's "far from what people loved about The Fame"... But the real irony is that if she was such a slave to her status she would have never recorded an album like BTW. The record is not commercial and that alone speaks heavily of her artistic integrity. How on earth anyone can interpret such an extreme risk as being "high and mighty" or "out of touch" is completely beyond me.
And at the end of the day, what's the alternative? To say you'd wish BTW were more in line with the past albums is to simultaneously admit that you'd like for GaGa to be dishonest with herself, shun her artistic vision, and instead opt to record music that will simply be received well so that she can be a commerical blockbuster. Basically, more than a few people yearn for GaGa to be everything she's ever stood against, a pop puppet living a life enslaved to blind success.
*Ends Rant*

"Dirty pony I can't wait to hose you down...
You've got to earn your leather in this part of town.
Dirty pearls in a patch, follow the Rivington Rebels.
Let's raise hell in the streets, drink beer and get into trouble."
This song is too epic!

Not that anybody cares, but I'm 100% pleased with the album. This was put out to divide people/make fans turn away/question Gaga and what she's about. It's supposed to be everything that a POP ALBUM should NOT be, which is why I love her so much. Of course she's going to do things that people (even fans) don't agree with but almost always, there is opposition when things evolve. Gaga's going into a different direction, and this album shows that she is breaking all the rules of a pop album. The only reason Born This Way (album) will ever be defined as pop will be for its popularity...not for its "pop sound." I realize how little this means coming from a new member but I thought I'd throw it out there however immature/pathetic it may seem. Love.

Personally I don't like the album as much as I did last night after the hype wore off, but I still think it's a good album (I just wouldn't call it great. Looks like Kanye remains untouched as the best release of the past year for now ). I've never valued cohesiveness, since I rarely listen to tracks in order. Did I like the song? That's the only question I ask myself, and I found myself saying yes more than no. The rock edge is fine with me - I like theatrical, over the top rock bands like Within Temptation and Nightwish, so I welcome the change.
I've stated maaaaany times that this album will be polarizing, but I'll say it again for anyone who missed it: THIS ALBUM WILL BE POLARIZING. Do not be shocked when (yes, WHEN, not if) you see a lot of negative reviews. The fact is, this is not a pure pop album, and that's going to alienate some (maybe even a lot) of her audience. Gaga has enough clout right now that she can be somewhat experimental with her sound and still have commercial success - this is likely the only time in her career she'll have this opportunity, so she's taking advantage of it. From the album, I think some of it works and some of it doesn't, but ultimately I respect her for taking the risk.
I've found myself defending her a lot today. I like her a lot though I've never really considered myself a stan, but I guess I tire of hearing the same criticisms over and over, especially knowing that some of these critics have ulterior motives.
