Is it just me, or does the Deluxe Edition version of BTW that Martian uploaded today have Hair with slightly less messy production? I don't even know...maybe I've listened to it so much I'm used to it. But it actually sounds different...

"Stormy night come inside me like never before
Don't forget me when I come crying to heavens door
I will fly on a challenger across the sky
Like a phoenix so you can remind them of the dream I bore..."
Am I the only one slain by 'The Queen'?

Whip me, slap me, drunk ****.
Me and carpers dunk drunk.
Bud light liquors, bar ****.
Move if this is your jerk,
Watch me light the St James.
Yes I like it, appetizer.
Taste of heavy metal lovers play,
Baby we were born this way.

What the hell happened on atrl today? The past few days have seen a nice mix of criticism at both ends of the spectrum but today seems to be filled with an overflow of pseudo intellectual rants regarding "what's wrong with GaGA".
I've seen more than a few posts mentioning (paraphrasing now) how GaGa's eccentric personality, superiority complex, or whatever has led her music astray, down a path that's "far from what people loved about The Fame"... But the real irony is that if she was such a slave to her status she would have never recorded an album like BTW. The record is not commercial and that alone speaks heavily of her artistic integrity. How on earth anyone can interpret such an extreme risk as being "high and mighty" or "out of touch" is completely beyond me.
And at the end of the day, what's the alternative? To say you'd wish BTW were more in line with the past albums is to simultaneously admit that you'd like for GaGa to be dishonest with herself, shun her artistic vision, and instead opt to record music that will simply be received well so that she can be a commerical blockbuster. Basically, more than a few people yearn for GaGa to be everything she's ever stood against, a pop puppet living a life enslaved to blind success.

Every track is growing on me! So happy with it.

It's gonna be so funny when we look back to our meltdowns the year later when this album comes out as successful.

The album is so epic..
BTW, Judas, Hair, Bloody Mary, Bad Kids, Fashion of His Love, Electric Chapel, You & I, The Edge of Glory are my top. The rest are amazing though.
The only song, sadly, that I don't like is 'Heavy Metal Lover'.
Also, I wrote this on one of the bathroom stalls at my school It's bad quality, but it's just the standard edition tracklist + BORN THIS WAY in big letters:
