Sure, the chorus is a tad underwhelming (except for the final one.) and the vocals are over-theatrical but I love the essence she managed to capture overall.
As for "Hey Girl".................THIS for a collaboration with Florence Welch? Save for the production, the whole thing's unbearably corny.
Also Come To Mama reminds me of the ending of The First Wives Club and kinda feels like a christmas song. While everyone has DIC on repeat I have this on repeat.
Super Bowl set:
"Muh-Muh-Muh-Muh" pulsates
1.) Poker Face + Just Dance melody
(Blackout, light flashes with the Perfect Illusion intro. Gaga is unseen. "Tonight, call me Joanne.. I'm just a beer guzzling football fan........" or something weird like that.)
2.) Perfect Illusion
3.) Dancin' in Circles
5.) Bad Romance
(grabs guitar)
6.) Quick Born This Way acoustic
7.) A-YO
"Please welcome the legendary BRIAN MAY!"
8.) Yoü and I + We Will Rock You
9.) The Edge of Glory
Who approved of Hey Girl it might be the worst song ever created. And omg the fact it's next to Angel Down and Come To Mama (the album highlights) just sharpened the contrast.
Angel is one of the worst on the album tho, I agree with CTM which is a masterpiece.
