We don't know so I'm using the figure of sales we actually know she has sold officially. And the unofficial figure is 3.7M+. I added an additional 100k to represent the possible sales that weren't counted due to the album being a digital only purchase when it was first made available.

And again how can you determine what's shipments and what's not? When you're using an unofficial figure (Mediatraffic). They could have shipped 100k copies.

They definitely have shipped more than 100k. As unofficial as Mediatraffic and MusiCharts are they represent actual sales no matter how off they are.

OMG MT, official or not, is what everyone uses for album sales. It could have very well sold that 5M but let's just go with these for now since they're actual sales w/ a weekly breakdown. I really thought we all were pushing the 5M agenda as a joke. I didn't really think some of you thought that's what it sold.

Exactly. I had the 5M in the title for humor. I didn't think people thought we seriously had passed the figure. We are on our way to at least 4M OFFICIALLY. That is something to celebrate.

If I remember correctly they split her sales up due to the fact it came out not allowing for a full week of sales. I could be wrong though.

Yes we did! We knew a deluxe version was coming. I remember when others said it wasn't happening. We just have to think "discount" and "AOTY win".

I still can't believe it slayed so much in China so long after it's release. Pride.
