I am predicting 750k as a max, but Adele has proven so many people wrong before that I won't say she can't do 1 M in pre-orders. My only issue is would that many people pre-order the album now when it's going to be available in just a few days. It still wont be as amazing as 2 million people rushing to physical stores, camping outside stores to buy Nsync though. Not diminishing Adele's future record by any means just saying the excitement that the early 00s had was so other worldy whenever BSB, Britney and Nsync would release. Digital sales have taken over and although clicking a buy button online doesnt show nearly the amount of dedication, its just indicative of the time I guess. Besides that, the hype for 25 is bringing back so much nostalgia to that era. The excitement and impending record breaking has never happened post 2002 and its crazy considering Adele has such a chilled persona and slaying like this.

I think Adele would have pulled in the same numbers with or without pre-orders tbh.

And her numbers are far more impressive than NSYNC's considering the state of today's industry.

Anyways, there's a reason all the big records were set back in BSB/NSYNC/Britney days. That was roughly the peak of album sales.

It might be "easy" to buy an album now, but considering the only other person touching 1M+ weeks is Taylor, obviously ease of purchase doesn't outweigh piracy and streaming.

It would be much less transparent to just say that Adele might do over 1.3M her 2nd week during black friday tbh.

I don't get this whole hiding behind adele to shade britney when Britney has held this record for 15 years were many females at least released 1 and no more than 7 releases and isn't pulling pre order and potential numbers that Queen Adele will.
