I hope the music video is just her and James riding their bikes around Auckland. Her wearing no makeup. Staring at each other. Dancing badly together in her bedroom ("I love this secret language that we're speaking") and then in another scene they're at a house party in New Zealand where Disclosure are DJ-ing and there's all these hot girls in little dresses and stilettos and she'll sing "pretty girls don't know the things that I know" to James.
The coolest part about her debut was her "normal teenager" thing. The fact that she went back to NZ for a break would have reinspired her. You're only a teenager once. You can't get those years back. So she clearly wanted to be with her friends in NZ this past summer rather than rushing into her sophomore album. I hope her music videos reflect what she (and they) did, post-fame/success. I remember her saying something about how she wants to write about how absurd it is to become famous and do all the things she's done.
I know this isn't her song. I'm just saying, her next album is going to be so good.

It would have been cool, but I suppose she needs to reinvent her sound and image. She already has a music video of normal teenagers doing normal, boring things. I guess it would have been kind of reductive.

I think it's the 4th video in Disclosure's series from the album, so I wonder how much control she actually had over it.

I agree that the strength of her debut was largely based on writing about her normal teenage life, but I'm so excited to see what she will do next without that. It would be unrealistic for her to pretend like she's a normal teenager still. I have total faith in her next album
Anyways this song is fantastic. Hopefully it will be available on US iTunes asap.
