Nicki has done much, much better than this. Super Bass, although was very Pop influenced, still had some Hip-Hop in it. It's like she found the perfect balance between Pop and Hip-Hop, and the song was surprisingly critically acclaimed, and critics praised her lyric references and rhythms.
