This however...

I know. I still like the video even though its pretty bad. I just put this up to show the similarities, they have a few things I notice in common. Like both videos show them riding and swinging around poles lol, the color of the lighting. The darkness and hide and seek parts.

Considering the fact that I've wanted Gaga to do a simple video for the longest time, I'm kinda pleased with her approach to this one. I was getting kinda tired of all of the complex conceptual videos (or "mini-films") she had been releasing. In fact, I'd pick this video over the nonsensical mess that was "Born This Way" any day.

And while I agree with those who think that great song like this one deserved a better, more thought-out video, I also think that the good thing about it is that it lets the song stand on its own. If TEOG blows up in the charts and the video countdown shows, it'll be because of how good the song is, not because of the buzz or controversy that the video evokes.

Oh, and last thing: Clarence Clemons cameo FTW!!!!! Get well soon, Clarence!!

This clip would have made a bit more sense for "Marry The Night" since she said the song is about New York or her old apartment or something but I like a simpleish video from Gaga, and I like this far more than BTW or Judas.
