I don't think that Beyonce isn't big in Europe because she isn't big in Germany. I think that because in most European countries she's not that big. But she's huge in United States...
I did not say Demi is bigger than Beyonce. I said Demi is bigger than Beyoncé in the moment. A lot newer artists (Katy, Taylor, Ariana, Selena, Demi) are now in 2016 bigger than the 2000's artists (Christina, Beyonce, Pink...) except Britney.

I agree they Beyoncé has been huge since her debut but that's different to being in the sun and spotlight. Same with Rihanna and everyone on the list. They've all had moments in their careers that elevate them into the public consciousness. I think the introduction of social media where people can be instantly famous has played a big part in the evolution of the music industry and I think it's more difficult to stay in that Spotlight.
I'm struggling to understand why people are arguing over which grown woman ranks within the top 5 of other grown women. If lady Gaga releases LG5 and it's a smash hit, she's in. When Katy Perry releases her work, she's in. I mean, what? Arguing over something so volatile and rapidly changing is useless?
