But if we're counting Lauryn as a rapper then Kesha would have the best selling rap song (Tik Tok) but that's not the way it works because both Lauryn and Kesha are mainly seen as singers, like Fergie and Nelly etc.
I'm saying that Lady Marmalade is more of a group work rather than a lead, I'm not saying that Lil Kim is not the first female rapper to have a number one single.
Iggy should be recognized and praised for what she did with Fancy, technically being the first female rapper to have a number one single as a lead.
