No. TIHWD's video gave it some appeal but they still poured more money in TIHWD than DH. Their marketing was in vain tho. A lot of stations never really picked it up and it dropped like flies off playlists. I myself have only heard it twice or thrice; two of those times it was in some late night hour or on AT40 (so they HAD to play it ) It was destined to doom after the market research came in. People didn't like the song and goldsoundz posted this tea a while ago.

This just proves my point tho? TIHWD had no RADIO support, and a big part of that was definitely due to the mess with Birthday. Why would they want to risk THAT happening again? Poor TIHWD. But it still managed to rake up almost 200M views, 18 weeks in the US (same as Birthday without airplay), decent peak, decent sales etc. all while being a fifth single. Slay.

How can I be trolling, it doesn't take a genius to understand that a fifth single that charts for just as long as a fourth single without radio payola is a bigger hit, respectively.

Honey, that's not the truth in my world. You know the world where Dark Horse was supported by Pepsi, got many performances with a different set of props for each. The world where Dark Horse got a vevo banner as well as a big production video. The world where radio played Dark Horse 100 times more than TIHWD. I could go on and on but basic logic seems to be lost on some people.
