Okay, so I thought about this, and since Cassie is a Sonya/Johnny hybrid, we probably won't be seeing either of them unless they come out as DLC. However, I do think that it means Kano and Goro are both very likely to be in the game, and Cassie might just be trying to settle scores for both Sonya and Johnny.

The whole 25 years thing worries me, because they said characters were going to show signs of aging...how will they do that for some characters like Kitana/MIleena/Jade? 25 years is nothing to them. That...and I guess most of them are dead. Guess I'm just going to hope they have a token "pretty" girl in the game for me to stan for. (That or literally every gaymer is gonna start becoming Cassie stans. 2006 teas.)

Mileena would make sense for the story if they're going to do Shinnok's invasion. She was a mole in for Shinnok during MK3.

Mileena died in MK2, died in MK3, died in MKG, (probably) died in MKD, but still came back for Armageddon.

Sindel died in MK3, came back for MKD.

Liu Kang died as a storyline, but came back as a zombie LOL.

The "dead" characters coming back is VERY likely.

Mimi didn't die in MKG, she was kept prisoner in Kitana's dungeon until Baraka set her free just before the events of Deception.

Ferra/Torr Fatality:
- Feraa stabs you in the head and proceeds to go along your back, while Torr rios you in half. Kinda like Shao Kahns MK9 fatality.

Playstyle
- Stamina Meter- So if you run or bachdash, you lose stamina.
- throw combos are in. (So all the people who block beware)
- Kotal Kahn a possible God ( Variations include Sun God, Blood God, and War God possibly)
- Block Button

Not some of you trying to argue that because dead characters made up of 20 pixels came back in the following arcade game, that'll mean they come back in MKX. Not with 24 characters, with having the living ones, new ones, and new introductions they're not. Sonya and Johnny's daughter being in and them being excluded alone shows the direction they're going in. Kitana, Jade, etc won't be back.

Remember, Cassie Cage is Johnny Cage & Sonya Blade's kid. The story starts RIGHT AFTER the events of MK9.

Pretty sure they won't leave out Johnny Cage (Kung Lao & Sub-Zero [human] were both playable characters even though they died in the storyline & were cyberfied in the storyline).

I think Johnny is making the game. Sonya, I'm not so sure about. I still think she will. Even if during the storyline 25 years later they aren't fighting for Earthrealm, they will be present in the storyline in the beginning with the aftermath of MK9.

I feel if Kung Lao & Human Sub-Zero were character spots despite the MK9 storyline, the same can be done for Sonya & Johnny.

I think the simple fact that they have a character with direct relation to both Johnny and Sonya, who plays like Johnny and Sonya, is evidence enough that we will not be playing as Johnny or Sonya

Because Cassie will be too similar to Sonya & Sonya is going to be pregnant during the storyline.

I imagine Cassie is around 25 years old meaning Sonya will be pregnant almost immediately & for a large portion of that 25 year gap she will be raising Cassie (I assume).

We don't even know if Sonya is gonna SURVIVE giving birth to Cassie yet.
